ABOUT US
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Wrath Lacrosse is a Not for Profit youth lacrosse program in Prince William County, VA for ages 8–18 that delivers affordable, competitively appropriate, and developmentally tailored lacrosse to players from local rec leagues, schools, and neighborhoods. We develop competitive, well-rounded athletes across the region—equipping them with the skills, game sense, and resilience to thrive in their high school programs and beyond. Recognizing that players grow at their own pace and often surge as they mature, we prioritize steady, age-aligned progress over forcing early specialization—because we’re building future varsity standouts and lifelong lovers of the game, not 10-year-old D1 prospects.

AFFORDABLE
GOAL #1
As a Not for Profit, we operate with zero profit motive and zero pass-through costs. Every dollar from registration goes directly to fields, coaching, insurance, and equipment—no markups, no hidden fees, no padded budgets. This structure keeps fees among the lowest in the region while delivering professional-level programming.
DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE
GOAL #3
Practices, drills, and game formats are customized to focus on fun, stick skills, and games to spark joy and build fundamentals without pressure. As players get older, we build the emphasis on positional play, teamwork, and game IQ using full-field 10v10 to sharpen decision-making and confidence. At the High School levels, coaches incorporate advanced tactics, leadership training, a college-style systems with 10v10 and specialty drills to prepare for varsity or collegiate play. Coaches adjust intensity, rules, and goals to match physical, cognitive, and emotional maturity—ensuring challenge and success at every age.
COMPETATIVE
GOAL #2
We don’t chase trophies at all costs. Teams are grouped by skill and experience so every player faces balanced competition. We look for appropriate competition that challenges our players without putting them in demoralizing competitive situations. We focus on building confidence with peers at their age levels to insure players get challenged without burnout. Wins feel earned—not manufactured.
COMMUNITY
BASED
GOAL #4
This is our region’s club—rooted in the parks, schools, and neighborhoods where our kids already play. We pull players from local rec leagues, elementary, middle, and high schools, so teammates are classmates, neighbors, and familiar faces.
Practices stay local: All sessions are within a 20-minute drive, using the same fields families already know.
Every team adopts a cause— and we coordinate a volunteer day to bring value back to the comminutes we live and play in.
